The First Week

First 48 to 72 hours

  • Keep the vehicle out of rain and away from moisture where possible while the adhesive sets.
  • Park in a garage or shade when you can.

First 7 days

  • Do not wash the vehicle.
  • Do not pick at or press on edges, seams or recessed areas.
  • Small bubbles or slight haze can appear in the first days. Do not poke them. Let us know if they do not settle.

Ongoing Care

Washing

  • Hand wash with a pH-neutral car shampoo, soft microfiber mitts and the two-bucket method.
  • Keep pressure washer nozzles at least 12 inches away and never aim at edges or seams.
  • Avoid automatic car washes with brushes, harsh solvents and degreasers.

Keep it looking good

  • Wipe off bird droppings, bugs, sap and fuel spills promptly.
  • No abrasive polishes or compounds.
  • Matte and satin wraps: do not wax or polish. Use cleaners made for matte finishes.
  • Gloss wraps: a wrap-safe detail spray keeps the finish clean and glossy.
  • Park in shade or a garage when possible. Long hours in direct sun shorten the life of any wrap.

What to Expect

What it does

  • Protects the paint it covers from light wear and gives you a new color or finish.

Good to know

  • Wraps are not permanent. They can be removed cleanly as long as the paint underneath is in good condition.
