Chrome Delete for Trim, Badges & Window Surrounds
A chrome delete covers bright chrome trim with a black or color-matched vinyl film. It is one of the quickest ways to modernize how a vehicle looks, and it works on its own or alongside a full wrap. Chrome trim is easy to overlook until it is gone, and then the whole car looks sharper and more intentional.

Smoked Taillights
Smoked taillight film darkens your lights for a cleaner, meaner look out back. I put it on with the same care as the rest of my work, with clean edges and a smooth finish.

Questions About Black-Out Styling
Is a chrome delete permanent?
No. It is vinyl, so it can be removed later. On healthy factory paint and trim, quality film is removable without harming the surface underneath.
What film do you use for chrome deletes?
I use premium cast vinyl from 3M, Avery Dennison, and KPMF, the same films I use for full wraps. Cast film conforms well to trim and curves and holds its color, which matters on small, detailed pieces.
Can I get a chrome delete without a full wrap?
Yes. Many customers choose chrome delete or a black-out package on its own. You can also add it to a full color change later.
Are smoked taillights street legal?
Lighting rules vary, and brake lights must remain clearly visible. I’ll talk through your options and the right darkness level during your consultation.
Which areas do you serve?
I work with drivers in Gilroy, Morgan Hill, San Martin, San Jose, Salinas, Hollister, and Watsonville, plus the surrounding South Bay.
