How We Install PPF
1. Paint Inspection
We look over every panel under shop lights and point out chips, swirls or past repairs before any film goes on.
2. Wash & Decontamination
A free wash is included, followed by decontamination to remove bonded contaminants so the film adheres cleanly.
3. Correction If Needed
If the paint needs it, we polish out defects first, because PPF seals in whatever is underneath.
4. Plotted, Wrapped Install
Every pattern is precision-plotted for your vehicle, in 7.8 or 8.8 mil film. We wrap the edges wherever the panel allows and it makes sense, so the film is hard to spot.
5. Final Check & Aftercare

Is PPF worth it on a new car?
A new car is the best time for PPF, because the film goes on over paint that has no chips yet. For Gilroy drivers who spend a lot of time on 101 and 152, front-end coverage pays for itself by preventing chips you would otherwise live with or pay to repaint.
Does PPF really self-heal?
